Willem Linders
graduated in Applied Physics from Eindhoven University of Technology in 1982
and received his MBA from Twente University in 1985 (both in the Netherlands).
He has more than twenty years experience with quality assurance systems and
quality improvement projects.
He
started his career in Process Control Engineering, in a small company,
producing super-conductive wire. After this he worked for five years as a
quality manager and production manager in several companies in the electronics
and metals industry, in the Netherlands. In these companies, quality systems
were implemented, using the ISO 9000 series as reference and certification was
successfully pursued.
From
1990 until now, he works as an independent consultant. In this period, more
than 50 quality improvement and environmental control projects were realised in
companies in the metals industry, electronics industry, civil construction
industry and service industry. Most of the assignments were in the Netherlands,
but he also worked in Belgium, Germany, France, Switzerland, USA, Mexico,
Saudi-Arabia Taiwan and Indonesia. Due to his international experience, Mr.
Linders is well versed in several European and Asian languages and able to
communicate with staff at all levels in the organisation.
For one project
realised in Indonesia, he received a Masters Degree in Total Quality Management
from Limburg University (Belgium). By finishing the Professional Development
Program 93/94 of IOD Leuven (Belgium), he became more versatile as an
Organisation Consultant. In 2003 he finished successfully the 1-year
postgraduate course in Risk Management at the Catholic University of Leuven
(Belgium). In 2007 he started a 2-year postgraduate course in Occupational
Health and Safety management, also at the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium).
From 1991 to 1994, he has taught the theoretical and practical aspects of Quality Management at the Faculty of Business Engineering of the Eindhoven Polytechnic Institute. He still acts as a guest lecturer for the Dutch Foundries Vocational Training Institute, Utrecht (Quality Control Systems), for the Faculty of Technology Management of Twente University (International Production Management) and for the Maastricht School of Management.
For the activities in Indonesia Willem Linders Quality Consultancy has a strategic co-operation with the Faculty of Technology Management of Twente University in the Netherlands and AIMS Consultants, Jakarta and Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu computer Indonesia, Malang and Universitas Brawijaya, Malang, (all in Indonesia). He is also the co-founder of Java Quality Center, Malang, Indonesia.
Mr. Linders is a practically oriented consultant, who involves employees and management at all levels in the realisation of the projects. This philosophy has proven to be successful in gaining results, that are well rooted in the daily activities of the company.
